- How do I book Prince Lee Acres for a shoot?
- Email NCVCanada@Outlook.com or call Stephen Clements at 416-712-4312. Enquiries are answered within 24 hours. Scouts are by appointment on-property, and bookings are flexible — by the hour, day, or week.
- What is your availability and how far in advance should I book?
- The estate is a private, single-tenant location. Availability is confirmed on request; hold dates and multi-day blocks are common. Contact us as early as possible for prep-heavy shoots, but same-week bookings are often possible.
- Do I need a permit to film at Prince Lee Acres?
- Prince Lee Acres is 196 acres of private, gated land on a dead-end road. It is the production's responsibility to determine what permits, insurance, and approvals are needed for the specific shoot. Productions typically provide standard liability insurance (typically $5M) naming Prince Lee Acres / Next Chapter Ventures as additional insured. Off-property work — public roads, road closures, or drones over neighbouring land — follows the usual Township of Uxbridge and Transport Canada rules.
- Can I book one or several areas, or the whole estate?
- Yes. You can book the full estate or select specific headline sets — by the hour, day, or week. Many productions start with a partial booking and expand as the schedule evolves.
- What does a booking include?
- Access to all fourteen headline sets inside the gated perimeter — 5 ponds, office space, mansion, horse barns, live horses, half-mile track, warehouse, private road, open pasture, indoor catering kitchen, outdoor kitchen, washrooms, and covered picnic area — plus on-site spring water, grid power with generator tie-in points, Avianet cell tower on site, 2 washrooms connected to the outdoor kitchen, an indoor crew kitchen, a covered 3-season outdoor kitchen and picnic pavilion, country baseball field, beach volleyball courts, and parking for 80+ vehicles including trailers and honeywagons.
- How large a crew and how many vehicles can you host?
- 150+ crew comfortably and up to 250 at maximum. Parking accommodates 80+ vehicles plus trailers, honeywagons, and unit trucks inside the gate.
- How far is Prince Lee Acres from Toronto?
- Roughly one hour from downtown Toronto and Pearson International Airport, in Uxbridge, Ontario. Standard truck routes are open and the private road handles full-size production vehicles.
- Can I shoot with the horses or on the racetrack?
- Yes. Standardbreds live and train on-site year-round, and the half-mile oval is fully operational. Racing sequences, training scenes, stable interiors, and paddock work can all happen inside the same booking without trucking animals in.
- Is the estate available in winter?
- Interiors are available year-round. The property shoots in three seasons — summer green, full autumn colour, and shoulder-season looks. Winter access is limited; contact us to check specific dates and weather-dependent sets.
